Super Summery Smoothies

Following on from our popular plant-protein pancakes that packed a punch, next up in our Recipe Series is the scintillating summer smoothie. Like you, we're hoping the sun is finally here to stay (well, for the summer at least) so let's hope the sun has got his hat on and makes himself comfortable because what better way to enjoy the sunshine than with a fresh, cold, protein smoothie?  

Smoothies have been the most popular of all the protein powder applications since even before Richard Reed et al. innocently sent the UK smoothies mad and started the smoothie revolution. Our suggested smoothie recipe will get you in a super summery mood with high fibre, low calories and zero fat for a light, refreshing and feel-good healthy summer drink.

 

What You’ll Need:

2 x Scoops of Vive Natural Flavour Protein Powder

1 x Frozen Banana

Handful of Frozen Raspberries

Handful of Frozen Blackberries

½ Teaspoon Vanilla Powder

½ Cup Ice Cubes

250ml of (Unsweetened) Almond Milk

 

Simply blend all the ingredients in a blender and you're good to go! If you're like us though, and love eating/drinking instagram-worthy meals, feel free to decorate it with some berries, nuts and whatever else you fancy!
