EATVIVE.com | Frequently Asked Questions

Way back in 1876, Alexander Graham Bell filed a patent for what we call the telephone. Fast forward all these years later and we're still using his invention on a daily basis, so before reading our Eatvive FAQs, pay homage to Mr Bell and feel free to pick up your phone and give us a call on: 020 3243 2097. Here at Vive HQ (we like to call it the BeeVive) we're honestly rather friendly and interesting and we won't bite - we only bite our delicious Eat vive bars.

We promise you won't have to go through any call menus or listen to some GCSE-standard hold music so why not give us a call with any questions you have about our vegan protein bars uk. I REGULARLY SUFFER FROM ‘HANGER’, CAN VIVE PROTEIN HELP?

You are not alone. Hanger affects 10 in 10 people and can strike suddenly between meals. There are often no symptoms or warning signs from the hangry individual until it is too late, so surrounding loved ones end up bearing the brunt of an attack. Vive bars are effective remedies for hanger as they contain natural ingredients that make you feel fuller for longer and are packed with 10g of vegan protein, which makes it an award winning runner in the world of vegan snack ideas.

An Eat vive protein bar is the simple solution for the HANGRY- keeping you full while nourishing your body with the best vegan protein mother nature has to offer.

WHY ARE YOUR VIVE PROTEIN BARS SOYA FREE?

In this case, better out than in! Good vegan snacks almost inevitably brings the concept of soya into most of our heads. Unfortunately, Soya has become a controversial ingredient recently, with some research linking it to affecting hormones, children’s development and the function of the thyroid gland. The majority of soya is also genetically modified, and the Institute of Food Research are still working on whether soya consumption is beneficial or detrimental… this all doesn’t sit well with us. At Vive we want to keep things natural and transparent, so we simply leave soya out of our products altogether as there are other ways to attain the best vegan protein from other sources.

I’M A VEGAN. CAN I EAT YOUR EAT VIVE PROTEIN BARS?

We’re all for a plant-based diet at the Eat Vive HQ (we like to call it the BeeVive). Our bars are 100% vegan-friendly, produced using fruit, nuts and vegetable-based proteins. The whole reason we created Vive protein bars was to not only to contribute a positive impact on your health, but also because we care about animal welfare and the environment. Plus, we have a soft spot for kale. And hummus.

Oh and peanut butter, cashew butter, avocadoes…Which is why we pay so much attention to our eatv protein bars. Look out for our circulating eat vive discount code and promotions. When you order something from us, we automatically give you a well deserved discount for your Eatv subscription as well! An ultimate bargain for good vegan snacks which taste amazing.

I’M LACTOSE INTOLERANT. CAN I EAT YOUR VEGAN PROTEIN BARS UK?

Yes! Rejoice! At last, you can feel liberated from the restraints of dairy when snacking on a Vive protein bar. Completely sidestep any bloating or nausea as the vegan protein we use in each bar has no allergenic ingredients. Our Eat vive bars allows you to avoid the difficulty of digesting whey protein, commonly found in other protein bars that are not vegan. Your belly is our most important customer and we take its well-being very seriously, (sorry but we’re only using you to get to it), so whey is completely excluded from all of our bars. Eat vive bars contain completely no whey protein, making it one of many’s top choices for good vegan snacks.

SO HANG ON, WHAT ARE IN YOUR EAT VIVE BARS THEN?

Our bars are crammed with pea protein – 10 grams per bar – so you can get that full, energised feeling that comes with a good dose of protein, in under 155 calories. No more chunky, unmixable shakes for you gym junkies! Pea protein is actually one of our star ingredients and a superfood, if ever we've heard of one. The pea protein in our eatvive bars is great for your heart, easy to digest, gluten-free, non-allergenic and packed with BCAAs (branched chain amino acids) that assist with muscle-building and fat burning. The high level of protein in a Vive bar is ideal for fueling up your pre or post gym workout, or to cut down on unhealthy snacking between meals. We assure nothing but quality in our ingredients here at eatv in order to bring you the best vegan protein snack and protein powders out there!

WHY ARE THERE PEAS IN YOUR EAT VIVE PROTEIN BARS? CAN YOU TASTE THEM…

Vive is all about eating clean and staying full - easy-peasy. When creating our recipe we decided to use pea protein as it doesn’t carry side effects like some non-vegan sources of protein do. The vive protein bar is designed to bring you the same benefits and much more! So forget whey, say goodbye to egg and don’t worry about that casein stuff. Pea protein is the animal product-free ‘whey’ forward!

A taste of our vive protein bar will make you realise that you have been taking the wrong ‘whey’ to health all along! It not only helps you feel fuller for longer, but it also supports a healthy ticker. As for the taste? Pea protein has a neutral taste so you won’t really know it’s there! The taste of our eat vive bars come from the natural sweetness in the fruit and nuts, keeping your taste buds hapPEA the natural ‘whey’!

SOOO, WHAT IS WITH THIS RISE IN GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS? AND ARE YOUR PRODUCTS HERE AT EATVIVE GLUTEN FREE?

For years, people have loved products high in refined wheat – think pizza, pasta, cakes, cookies, sandwiches and wraps. Yummy, right? Although your mouth may be watering, BUT this diet means consuming huge amounts of gluten, not to mention carbs, which leads to bloating, cramps and makes one appear to be carrying a “food baby”. Here at the BeeVive we are not big fans of the food baby and want the best for all our Eatv customers!

Being gluten-sensitive can be hard, so does being gluten intolerant (1 in 100 people have Coeliac Disease), which is why we’ve made all our bars gluten free – to keep every digestive system smiling. If it's good enough for Victoria Beckham, Russell Crowe and Novak Djokovic, then why not give it a go? You might agree with how we feel about what it takes to be the best vegan protein in the market.

WHAT IS REFINED SUGAR EXACTLY? (AND NO OUR EATVIVE BARS DO NOT CONTAIN THIS!)

Refined sugar is an ugly thing, so many people are making a conscious effort to cut it out of their diet. When consumed, refined sugars give your body empty calories, placing extra demand on digestion and zapping you of important nutrients and minerals. Basically, it’s a party pooper. Refined sugar even has links to causing bad skin, bad moods and bad body shapes, so it’s pretty obvious why we’ve banned it from starring in our eat vive products. The only sugar you will find in Vive bars is the kind that occurs naturally in fruit and nuts.
