M'EAT VIVE

Founder/ Deputy Joke Manager

As the founder of Vive, I have the pleasure/ curse of overseeing everything going on at Vive, which can definitely be overwhelming at times with so much going on.

My role usually is split between looking across all the channels (sales/ marketing/ operations) and speaking with the team to identify and implement efficiencies and formulate strategies and new ideas for us to grow and reach more people.

At the moment a lot of my time is being consumed by overseeing the move to the new factory, which is tricky as it's a distraction from the day to day running of things.

About Me

I was born and raised in Scotland & have always been passionate about businesses and brands. I'm also a MASSIVE chocaholic so the combination of those means my running Vive is an absolute dream for me.

Outside of work, I not only think about work but also read books & listen to podcasts about brand building. Thankfully, I have a wonderful family and fiancé who manage to pull me away for a bit of playtime.

Recently, I've been spending a lot of my time trying to get back to playing sport after a bad knee injury (ACL tear) that doesn't want to heal. Hopefully this summer I'll be back at it, otherwise i'll have to stick to my afternoon workouts with Becky.

Operations/ NPD manager

My role at Vive is to get those delicious bars made to pure perfection! It is my pleasure to manage our small and very diligent production team, as they strive to only produce the highest quality bars and are always excited to try the next new flavours. The versatility of our flavour of the month bars keeps me on my toes and I can't wait for you to try our next ones.

About Me

There are two loves in my life, food and mountains (sorry Elliott). I went to university to study Nutrition and Food Science and I'm often found in the kitchen experimenting with different recipes, sometimes my family wish I didn't experiment quite so much.

My friends joke I only joined Vive to fuel all my outdoor activities. They were correct. Although, that's not what I told Ishak when I applied. As long as I'm outdoors at the weekend playing somewhere, I'm happy.

When at the office you will find me sandwiched between Conor and Ishak shaking my head trying not to laugh at their terrible but hilarious jokes! I guess balance is key.

Intern / Joke Manager

As a small team of 5, I undertake a wide varieties of roles such as admin jobs, accounting, leaflet design and office beatboxer. The most exciting tasks I've completed so far are creating the packaging for our new bars and designing the webpage for their release. I am currently working on updating the entire website and designing universal packaging for our flavour of the month bars. In the coming year I hope to push the sustainability attributes of Vive.

About Me

Currently studying Product Design at University. My main interests lie in food, clothing, music and design. A concept that I naturally adhere to is that of "Shibumi" - a Japanese idea that loosley translate as 'effortless simplicity'. Where something that intially appears simple, has actually been created and refined through a complex process. This results in an elegant aesthetic with a lot of detail that's revealed with time. This reflects throughout my interests and life approach.

My humour primarily revolves around word play such as palindromes and spoonerisms - this results in many hilarious days in the office - I'm sure Ishak and Becky will agree.

Marketing Manager

Hey I'm Steph, and I'm the Marketing Manager here at Vive. I'm in charge of all marketing at Vive; including social media, e-commerce, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and OOH campaigns - you may have also seen my face pop up on our Instagram from time to time (being overly enthusiastic about our Flavour of the Months)!

I feel honoured to be working for such an amazing company, and being vegan myself, I truly appreciate all the incredible products that Vive produces - they are second to none and I can't wait to see what comes next!

About Me

Growing up I was a part of the Welsh Ski Team for around 10 years, racing all over the world; from Scotland to New Zealand and everywhere in between. I ‘retired’ when I turned 18 and head to university to study Physical Geography and Geology… yes, a little different from marketing!

It was at university that I found my passion for cooking and showcasing it online. And in doing so, building my own social media presence, and creating a vegan recipe blog. It was this that sparked my love for social media and all things digital - things like marketing.

And the rest, they say, is history…

Sales Manager

My role at Vive is split into two main parts. The first is to make sure as many people as possible, get the opportunity to purchase our tasty products, by reaching out to a variety of different outlets. These include gyms, health stores, supermarkets, online retailers and anyone else who loves our brand as much as we do and is happy to have Vive on their shelves. The second part is to build relationships with these new and existing customers, being there for support whenever they have any Vive related queries. I always make sure to check in from time to time to see if there is anything that me or my team can do to help them and their customers, such as providing POS and samples.

About Me

When I was younger, I always had a passion for food and cooking and even decided to go down the path of becoming a chef. After realising that I was more of a hobbyist chef than a Gordon Ramsey (survived one year!), I decided to go down the nutrition route which is what I studied at university. I now use these skills to spread information about how nutritionally great Vive bars are! I’m an avid gym goer and like to train most days after I have finished my morning read - My favourite book is the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz and I recommend it to anyone who will listen. Most people would describe me as an upbeat and positive person with an addiction to herbal teas.

Sales Assistant

I took a bite of my first Vive bar while working as a barista. It was mind boggling and I quickly became a huge fan, always keen to try the FOTM’s and new products. When the opportunity arose for me to join the sales team at Vive, I couldn’t resist.

My role is to share my enthusiasm for Vive and introduce our products to a range of businesses, enabling Vive to reach out to consumers all over the country, from the Scottish Highlands to the South Coast.

About Me

I’m a mum of two from East London with a passion for healthy eating that ignited when my children were born. I wanted to make them tasty and healthy food and have spent many hours experimenting in the kitchen. My plan worked - my children enjoy their food and are always keen to try anything new. It has became something of a hobby to visit health stores, street food markets and food shows, searching for new, healthy and tasty products, which eventually led me to Vive.

Career wise, I have over 20 years experience in an eclectic range of customer service roles and am now in my element, fusing the skills I’ve gained over the years with my ultimate passion - good food!
