Tasting & production
Once the flavour has been decided, Becky, our product lead, will get working to to make sure the recipe meets our strict Vive taste standards - this makes for very enjoyable days in the office. We'll then cook up a small batch of limited edition bars for you guys to enjoy!

FAQs
Do we have sugar in our bars?
Yes. Our bars contain sugars from ingredients such as chocolate, dates and fruit. FruityNutta bars also have real fruit jam which contains sugar.
We do not use artificial sweeteners.
Sugar content varies by product, but our bars typically contain less sugar per serving than many mainstream chocolate bars (for example, a 40g Mars bar contains 24g of sugar). Please refer to the nutritional information on each product page for exact values.
Can I eat Vive bars if I have a nut allergy?
No. All Vive bars contain nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, cashews or peanuts).
Our products are made in the same facility, so there is a risk of cross-contamination between nut types. If you have a nut allergy, even to just one type of nut, we do not recommend consuming Vive bars.
Can I eat Vive bars if I have diabetes?
Our bars contain naturally occurring sugars from ingredients such as dates and chocolate.
While some customers feel that the combination of dates and nuts provides more sustained energy compared to traditional confectionery, individual responses to carbohydrates vary. We have not conducted clinical testing on people with diabetes and do not market our products as suitable for diabetics.
If you have diabetes or any medical condition affecting blood sugar, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional before consuming our products.
Where do we source our ingredients from?
We source our chocolate from the UK and our dates from the UAE.
We work with trusted suppliers and aim to maintain high quality and responsible sourcing standards across our ingredients.
Do you have palm oil and artificial flavours?
No. Vive bars do not contain palm oil, artificial flavours or artificial sweeteners.
Are all bars protein bars?
Vive originally launched with a protein bar range. Today, we offer both natural protein bars and better-for-you chocolate bars.
Our protein range is high in protein, while our other ranges contains varying levels of protein and fibre. Please check the product page for specific nutritional information.
